I've been trying my hand at high dynamic range (HDR) photography using Photomatix Pro.  This is the living room in the house where I grew up.

This picture is a composite of three images, varying only by the shutter speed.  I metered the scene and then shot three bracketed pictures.  The other two pictures are two stops above and below the meter reading.
